Menjangan Island Mangrove Tour
This tour will take you deeper into the mangrove forest and its habitat, offering the chance to observe wildlife in the mangroves—especially long-tailed macaques and the small blue king monkey.
We’ll explore the Banyuwedang mangrove forest, part of the national park area. The mangrove forest stretches for about 5 km and we’ll journey through it using a traditional boat called a jukung. It’s a unique and peaceful experience where you can relax on the boat while taking in the beauty of Banyuwedang Bay and learning more about the mangroves and their ecosystem.
If the trip starts around 4:00 PM, we’ll end the journey by cruising out of the bay just in time to catch a stunning sunset — with the majestic volcanoes of Java as the backdrop.
